For the record, I don't believe in style "rules." To me, it's kind of like literature. At first, everyone tells you you "HAVE" to put a comma here and capitalization there, but then at some point you realize you have artistic license to do whatever you want. So with that said, denim on denim, blue and black, brown and black, white after labor day: do whatever you want. Life is too short to care all that much about arbitrary rules. I'll step down from my podium now.
